Evita sculpture, 9 de JulioThe Avenida 9 de Julio, with its 18 lanes of traffic, is famous for being the widest boulevard in the world and for taking a pedestrian up to 10 minutes to get across.

Which gives you time to admire the metal sculpture of Evita on what is now the Ministry of Health building (just like the one of Ché in Havana!). And the jacaranda trees in bloom, if you're lucky enough to be here in late spring.

And you can probably count about a hundred yellow and black taxis racing by!
