Susan is currently serving on the Executive Board of the Women Painters of Washington. The WPWpermanent gallery is in the Columbia Center Building at 701 Fifth Avenue in Seattle.

"Planetarium" won the Alice Mae Hart Memorial Award in the National Association of Women Artists show "Daring to Defy the Medium: What is Collage?" in 2015.

"Round Pegs in a Square Hole" and"Triangulation" were juried into the Collage Artists of America 'Squared' show, 2014.

"Docked" was the featured work for the West Seattle Art Walk, on the January - March 2014 poster and postcard.

"Water Under the Bridge" was juried into the National Collage Society 2013-2014 Annual Show and Susan was awarded signature membership.

"Downtown Edmonds, July" was featured on the poster for the Urban Sketchers Celebrate Edmonds show in Edmonds, WA in October 2013.

"Water Tower" won the Eleanor Wolters Smith Memorial Award at the Northwest Collage Society Fall 2013 Exhibit. In addition, "White Flowers, Yellow Vase" won a Merit Award.

"Another Canal View" won the Northwest Collage Society award in the NWCS 2012 Fall Exhibit.

"Docked" was one of two collages juried into the 2012 Northwest Fine Arts Competition.

Awarding "Snoqualmie Depot" an Honorable Mention at the Railroad Days Plein Air Paint Out, Snoqualmie Arts Commission member Jeff Waters said of the piece, "This is what God meant when He said watercolor."

Susan was awarded Signature Membership by the Northwest Watercolor Society in 2012.

"Urbanity" won a curator's award in the 2012 National Collage Society's Annual Postcard Show.

"A Moment" won the Eleanor Wolters Smith Memorial Award at the Northwest Collage Society 2013 Spring Exhibit.

"Palermo Fountain" won the Puget Sound Painters of the Northwest Award in the 2012 EAFA Members Show.
