You Can Take the Girl Out of Seattle...
In Seattle, there are six cafes I can walk to from home, and two of them are Starbucks. Here, the nearest *$ store is about a five minute drive away.
Sketched the car at left from my table there one morning. An interesting contrast to the truck sketched at quite a different locale. A comment on Starbucks' customer base?
It was great to sit outside and drink coffee or have a meal in December. Lots of places had fountains, or "lagoons" or some kind of water to soothe desert souls. Below is one of three fountains in the neighborhood, passed on my daily walk.
